rules & regulations
These rules and regulations are in place to ensure the safety, respect, and enjoyment of all participants. They help create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can focus on playing their best and connecting with others. Following these guidelines is essential for maintaining a high-quality experience and ensuring that our community remains welcoming and enjoyable for players of all levels.
Admission and Registration Process
Online Registration

When: Opens on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM and closes on Fridays at 8:00 PM for that week’s Open Gym.

Where: Registration is posted on our website every Wednesday at 8pm.

How: Players select an available court that suits their play level/skills. (See "Court Information and Rules" below for details on court assignments.)
Waitlist Process

How it Works: If a court is sold out, players may register on the waitlist using the same registration link.

Check-in for Waitlisted Players: Waitlisted players can take the spot of a registered player who does not check in during the 9:00-9:30 PM Check-in Period.

Confirmation: After registering, players will receive an email confirmation for their spot or waitlist status. This email may be requested for verification at check-in.

Reservation Expiry: Registration reserves your spot until 9:30 PM. After this, your spot will be available to waitlisted or walk-in players.

Cost: $10 cash or $12 Venmo, payable at check-in.
Check-In Period

When: Fridays from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM

What to Bring: An ID or email confirmation may be requested for verification at registration to pay admission.
Walk-In Period

Time: 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Walk-ins will be accepted if court space allows. Players may check in after 11:00 PM and participate in games as space opens up on the courts.
Court capacity

Maximum team capacity is enforced on each court from 9:00-11:00 PM.

After 11:00 PM, players from previous periods can move to any available court, except Court 4, which will remain limited to 4 teams all night.

Format: Kings Court (6v6)

Max Teams: 4 (9:00-11:00 PM)

General
Rules

Equipment Use

All equipment must be used properly. Report any damaged equipment to staff.

No Pets

Only service animals are permitted inside the facility.

Center Aisles / Walkways
-
No passing, hitting, or peppering in the center aisles or near court areas during game play.

Injuries and Issues
-
Report all injuries, damages, and spills to staff immediately.

No Basketball / Kicking Balls
-
Basketball play and kicking volleyballs are not allowed.

Respectful Behavior

All players are expected to be respectful. Volaris promotes sportsmanship and encourages positive conduct.

Prohibited Behaviors
-
Fighting, horseplay, and disruptive behavior are prohibited.

No chewing tobacco, alcohol, smoking, or vaping in the facility or on the premises.

Zero tolerance for drugs or illegal substances.
-
No weapons allowed in the facility.

Dress Code

Clothing:

Players must wear appropriate sports attire (shorts, sweats, t-shirts, and sneakers).

Offensive clothing is prohibited.

Footwear:

Only appropriate athletic shoes (e.g., sneakers) are allowed on the court. Boots, dress shoes, flip-flops, and crocs are not permitted during play.

Concessions

Hours: 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Light food, beverages, and snacks will be available for sale at the concession area.
