Volaris OGV
Disciplinary Action Policy

At Volaris Open Gym Volleyball (OGV), we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all players and spectators. Disrespectful behavior, rule violations, and disruptive conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Our disciplinary policy is designed to address violations effectively, ensuring that community standards are upheld at all times.

WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE SPORTSMANSHIP.

Disciplinary Action Process

  1. Verbal Warning

    • For a first offense, the player will receive a verbal warning from a staff member or manager.

    • This warning will specify which rule was violated and serve as a reminder of the expected conduct moving forward.

    • The player is expected to adjust their behavior immediately and adhere to all facility rules.

  2. Formal Meeting with Management

    • If a player continues to exhibit rule-breaking behavior or disrespect after a verbal warning, a formal meeting with a manager will be arranged.

    • During this meeting, management will discuss the incident(s), reiterate facility rules, and provide clear expectations for future conduct.

    • The player will be notified that further violations may result in suspension or a permanent ban.

    • This action will be documented in the Volaris OGV records.

  3. Suspension or Permanent Ban

    • If the player persists in breaking rules or displaying disrespectful behavior, they will face a suspension or permanent ban from Volaris OGV.

    • The duration and severity of the ban will depend on the nature of the violations and the player’s overall conduct record.

    • The player will be formally informed of the ban and its effective dates.

    • All suspensions or bans will be documented in the Volaris OGV system, and this decision is final.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Volaris Open Gym Volleyball enforces a zero-tolerance policy for the following behaviors, which may result in an immediate suspension or permanent ban without prior warnings:

  • Disrespectful or Aggressive Behavior: Any form of verbal or physical aggression towards players, staff, or spectators.

  • Discrimination or Harassment: Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal attribute.

  • Violation of Safety Policies: Any action that endangers the safety of others, such as fighting or misuse of equipment.

  • Substance Abuse: Use of drugs or alcohol within the facility, parking lot or arriving under the influence.

Enforcement and Documentation

  • All disciplinary actions will be recorded in the Volaris OGV system to maintain transparency and accountability.

  • Management decisions regarding disciplinary actions are final.
